Door of Hope is a non-profit, faith-based organization whose mission is to equip homeless families to rebuild their lives. Since 1985, we have been providing transitional housing and a restoration program especially designed for homeless families with children.

What makes us different?

All family types

One of the few places that will accept the three main family types of all sizes:

single mothers (including victims of domestic violence) with children
single fathers with children
married couples with children

Note - Children are kids 17 or younger

Holistic approach

Door of Hope provides a solid foundation for families to build on to ensure a better future:

Door of Hope is part of the Pasadena, Glendale and greater Los Angeles networks that offer permanent housing solutions to homelessness:

Phase 1 - Stability
Phase 2 - Housing readiness
Phase 3 - Moving toward independence and housing search
Phase 4 - Permanent housing and follow up services
