APPLICATION PROCESS
There are three steps to the application process:
Application Online (or by phone):
Our initial application can be filled out online at www.doorofhope.us/online-application. The initial application allows us to get general information and determine if the applicant meets the qualifications of the program. The qualifications for the program can be reviewed at www.doorofhope.us/qualifications. An application can be taken over the phone as well by calling: (626)304-9130.
Phone Interview
Once the application is received, it will be reviewed. Depending on what type of openings are available, applicants will be called at the phone number provided to have a phone interview scheduled. The phone interview is generally an hour long and if the application is for a two parent family, both parents will need to be available at the same time for which the phone interview is scheduled.
On-site Face-to-Face Interview
Once the phone interviews are completed, families will be selected with whom face-to-face interviews will be conducted. These face-to-face interviews will be conducted on-site with the entire applicant family. If a family is selected to enter the program after the face-to-face interview, they will be given a timeframe for when they can move in.
