SPONSOR-A-ROOM
Door of Hope Room Sponsors make a huge difference in the lives of families in an extremely tangible way. Sponsors not only help families while they are at Door of Hope, but the items each family obtains upon entry, stays with them as they continue on their journey from Homelessness to affordable housing.
When you sponsor a room, you are able to give each family who moves into that room the following:
-New bedding for every bed (including matching linens, new pillows and comforters)
-New towel sets for each member of the family
-An alarm clock
-Lamps
-Two hampers for dirty and clean clothes
-A waste paper basket
-Other specific items that are tailored to each and every individual family
With that, your sponsorship also covers the cost it takes to maintain and prepare the room for more families to move in. This includes annual carpet cleaning, touch-up painting and other minor repairs.
Door of Hope does all that it can to provide for non-sponsored rooms that are prepared with donated linens, towels, and other items listed above. Though there are times that we cannot attain all the items, we are definitely good stewards of the donations we receive and definitely keep in mind the potential need that may arise.
Upon sponsorship, a plaque is placed beside the door of the room with your name and your anniversary sponsorship date in honor of the huge impact and blessing you are making in the lives of the many families that will use that room.
Remember that your one-year sponsorship will help multiple families from all walks of life to get a second chance at rebuilding their lives.
All rooms are sponsored on an annual renewable basis.
